Take your rope journey off the ground.
Ready to move beyond the basics of rope? This workshop is designed for attendees who already have some familiarity with fundamental ties and want to start exploring the world of suspension, partial suspension, and more structured rope scenes in a safe, supportive environment.
This is not an “experts only” class – just a chance to build confidence, deepen your understanding, and take the next step in your rope journey.
Part of our ongoing Kink 101 workshop series, this session focuses on practical skills, safety awareness, and understanding the foundations needed for elevated rope play.
What We’ll Cover:
- Core principles behind suspension and load-bearing rope
- The differences between partial suspension and full suspension
- Uplines, tension, positioning, and body awareness
- Negotiation, communication, and emotional safety in rope scenes
- Anatomy and nerve safety refresher
- Building stable, comfortable harnesses for support
- Common risks, warning signs, and why patience matters
- Introduction to transitions and more dynamic rope positions
- Live demonstrations (with follow-along encouraged), guided discussion, and Q&A throughout
This workshop is best suited for people who already understand basic ties such as single and double columns, or who have attended previous rope workshops. You are eligible for a discount to this event if you have attended one of our rope workshops in the past.
The event runs from 3pm-8pm.
Attendees are welcome to BYOB for consumption after the workshop only. Snacks and soft drinks will be provided.
