Whether you’re curious or looking to refine your technique, this beginner-friendly workshop will guide you through the essentials of playing with heat safely, confidently, and consensually.
Part of our monthly Kink 101 series, this session is designed to give you practical knowledge and hands-on understanding in a supportive, pressure-free environment.
What We’ll Cover:
- Introduction to heat play — what it is and why people love it
- Wax play basics — types of candles, temperature awareness, and safe application
- Understanding drip height, placement, and control
- Introduction to fire cupping — technique, safety, and sensation
- Anatomy awareness and safe vs sensitive areas
- Consent, negotiation, and setting expectations
- Managing intensity and reading body responses
- Aftercare specific to heat-based play
- Live demonstrations and optional guided practice
No prior experience needed — beginners very welcome.
The workshop runs from 3pm-5:30pm and the afterparty runs from 5:30pm-8pm.
Attendees are welcome to BYOB for the afterparty only. Snacks and soft drinks will be provided, as well as condoms and lube during the afterparty.
